World War II was over and the world could breathe a sigh of relief. However the final and subsequent years of the war (1945-1948) were filled with very important and formative events that would be a turning point in history helping to shape and define our world as we know it today. Even more so, I believe these events ultimately either fulfilled the End-Times prophecies of the Scriptures or set the stage for their final fulfillment. Interestingly enough, there have been numerous comparisons made and similarities with the WWII era and our day and age. What follows are current news stories/blogs in which the WWII era is referenced.

Apparently Obama has earned the record of outspending FDR and his New Deal. Whether or not this is the case, it is very interesting to me that there is a continual comparison of Obama to FDR and Hitler. Now what do these two figures have in common? They were both key figures during WWII. And I don't know about you but I have regularly heard comments or insinuations regarding the time we are living in right now and the era of WWII. So the question is, if this is the case, why is there all this comparison to the time of WWII? I'm not sure myself, but I believe that the WWII era had a profound and lasting effect, physically, mentally, and spiritually on our nation and on the world as a whole and brought us into a "new age" so to speak. So, this begs the question, will this era, when we look back, also prove to be a turning point in the world's history?

JANUARY 3:
Signficance: Edgar Cayce was known as the "Sleeping Prophet". He claimed to be a christian and spoke of Jesus. However, the Jesus he spoke of was not the Jesus of the Bible. He was also a promoter of holistic healing and new age beliefs, which have seen recent popularity in today's society. Moreover, his prophecies are now being used to promote the 2012 theory.

Significance: Some Bible Scholars believe that there will be an end-times war between Israel and the Arab nations fulfilling Psalm 83. It is interesting that the Arab Nations form a league only 3 short years before Israel is granted status as a Nation.

U.S. atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, at 8:15 a.m. (local time); nicknamed "Little Boy"

U.S. atomic bombing of Nagasaki, Japan, at 11:02 a.m. (local time); nicknamed "Fat Man"
Significance: Some believe that since the Atomic Bomb was not needed to end the war that it was in fact an occultic ritual performed by the powers-that-be to give them power. Whether this is true or not, it is interesting to note that the people that were involved in this plan (the Manhattan Project) met at Bohemian Grove in the summer of 1942. The Bohemian Grove is known for is lewd and occult-like atmosphere which may border on the verge of satanic. These world leaders who devise nefarious plans to control the world will be destroyed according to Revelation 18.

There is little doubt that the U.N. will be an active participant in shaping the type of world we read about in Revelation 13, 17, and 18.

The Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer (ENIAC), is completed
Significance: The computer has been one of the most revolutionary inventions in the history of the world. With its invention, technology has increased exponentially and it still hasn't stopped. We are at the point where computers are now creating computers! Take a moment to think about how our lives would be without computers. Not only are they improving our lives but they are bringing us closer together and no doubt this technology is ripe for a government that uses this technology to catalog and track mankind, as is prophesied in Revelation 13 and 18.

DECEMBER:
Significance: The Nag Hammadi scriptures consist of Gnostic texts, which were a heretical set of teachings during the New Testament Church Age (See Galatians). Gnosticism is derived from the Greek word "to know" and focuses on a secret knowledge, which brings salvation, that can only be obtained by a few. Although the Gnostic concept has been around millenia, it is what's driving groups such groups as the Freemasons, Illuminati, and other secret societies today. These organizations are pushing for global government control where the enlightened ones (those who have the special knowledge) rule over the common people. The Bible teaches of a coming Kingdom that is ruled by Jesus, not by the enlightened ones of the world. In this kingdom those with this "special knowledge" will be thrown outside the city where there is weeping an gnashing of teeth because they refused to believe in Jesus (Matthew 22:1-14).
JANUARY 10:
Signficance: Named after the Roman Goddess of the Moon, this project bounced radio signals off the moon and effectively started the space age. We now live in an age where transmissions to and from space are common occurences. All of these things together, have made it more believable and has the made the question, "is there life in outer-space", a relevant question. It is only a matter of time before we are contacted or discovered by aliens (i.e. fallen angels). The whole extraterrestrial-intelligent life phenomenon has its roots in Genesis 6 and will play an important role in the great deception of 2 Thessalonians.

Significance: Jack Parson was a rocket scientist by day (founding California's Jet Propulsion Laboratories, integrated with NASA years later) and an obsessed student of Super-Occultist Aleister Crowley by night. In 1946 he began an occult ritual that, among other things, was meant to catalyze the spirit of Babylon into this world. Interestingly, his partner in this working, who copiously took notes of what happened during the Working, was none other than L.Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology in 1952. It is no stretch of the imagination to realize that there is definitely a spirit that is reminiscent of Revelation 18 in our world today. Could Jack Parson's ritual been a factor in much of the moral decay we see today? Possibly. Ephesians 6:12 might help answer that question.

Significance: Steven Spielberg is considered one of Hollywood's most important and influential filmmakers of all time. Not only does he produce blockbuster movies on a regular basis, the movies he directs and produces tend to be geared toward metaphysical and paranormal themes. There are some who believe that he is actually a government insider who has been given "classified information" from government sources which he then takes and disperses into his movies in order to program the public mindset into believing and eventually accepting these memes. In the End Times, these themes will play a big role and what better way to expose the public to these philosophies then to enlist the help of a big-time Hollywood mogul.
MARCH 1:
The (IMF) International Monetary Fund begins to operate.
Significance: The IMF was set up to help the financial stability of the world's countries yet in so doing, they end up in control of the country, under the maxim "the borrower is slave to the lender". The IMF has also made calls to create a international currency. It appears that this organization may play a role in the prophecies of Revelation 13 in one way or the other.

Seaman Harold Dahl claims to have seen 6 UFO's near Maury Island in Puget Sound, Washington. The next morning, Dahl reports the first modern so-called "Men in Black" encounter

Kenneth Arnold makes the first widely-reported UFO sighting near Mount Rainier, Washington
JULY 7:
A supposedly downed extraterrestrial spacecraft is reportedly found in the Roswell UFO incident, near Roswell, New Mexico
Significance: The whole modern day alien fanaticism, more than likely, began at this time in history. It is interesting to note that these alien sightings began a little over a year after Jack Parsons' Babalon Working, which some believe may have opened up portals for spiritual beings to come through. Also, researcher David Flynn has concluded that the sight of the Roswell UFO incident is in exactly on the opposite side of the world as Mt. Hermon; the supposed mountain where the fallen angels in the book of Enoch made their pact.

He wrote many magical tomes and conducted occultic workings (of which some people say may have led to the start of the alien phenomenon). His influence has also been felt in the music and movie industry. His philosphy of "do what thou wilt" will be the philosophy of society in the Last Days.

Signifigance: Bible Scholars have longed recognized Israel as an intregal part of God's plan with His creation. Many Bible teachers believe that one of the most, if not the most, significant event in the prophetic timeline is the re-establishment of Israel as a nation (Ezekiel 37). To them, this event marks the start of the countdown to the end. Interestingly, there are some who believe that the present government in Israel is not true Israel but an imposter government set up by the elites of the world. Whatever the case, there is little doubt that Israel will play a key part in the end of days.

Signifigance: Here is another world organization being created, but this time over the most precious commodity and resource this world has -- the human body. The powers that be world now have a governing body in place that could control the human body.

Signifigance: In the book of Revelation we read that the whole world will pledge their allegiance to the Beast and the Dragon. This would have seemed impossible centuries ago due to the plethora of religions in the world. However, as the ecumenical movement has gained momentum, we see a push to create one world religious system. The World Council of Churches is one major organization with this agenda.
